Payments are made through the Adyen payment solution, which is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We have chosen this payment solution because it ensures a high level of security. Their clients include Uber, Ebay, Booking.com and Zalando.
To further protect our customers when making online card payments, you may be required to go through an authentication step at the time of payment as part of the 3-D Secure security measures.
3-D Secure is a secure payment protocol for the Internet. It includes the payment method of Visa and MasterCard. Depending on your banking service, you will receive an authentication request from your bank to validate the payment.
You will be debited after your order has been confirmed.
When you want to place an order, we will ask your bank. If your payment is authorised, the order is validated. A confirmation page will appear at the end of the payment process to confirm your purchase. You will receive an e-mail confirming that the order has been validated.
If your payment is not authorised, your card will not be charged. The reason for the refusal will be indicated on the payment page.

The delivery time is between 5 and 8 weeks for all countries to which we deliver.
Why 8 to 16 weeks?
The manufacture of our products requires particular care because:
- We want to offer you quality furniture. For this reason, the products are manufactured in Italy and France by craftsmen.
- Bogarel products are eco-responsible: they are not mass-produced and stored. In order to limit their ecological footprint, they are only finished if you order them.
For all these reasons, you will have to wait 5 to 8 weeks to receive your product at home. Don't worry, the wait is worth it! Your patience will be rewarded.

EXCHANGE AND REFUND
Unfortunately, items cannot be exchanged.
If you would like an item in a different colour, you will need to return the item for a refund and then place a new order.
Any refunds will automatically be made to the payment method used to place the order
Whatever the reason, you have a right of withdrawal of 15 days from the receipt of your order. If you wish to be reimbursed for one or more items in your order, you must return the items to us.
We will refund you within 10 days of receiving the returned items in one of our factories in Italy. The items must be in perfect condition and unused.
If the returned item is in perfect condition and has never been used, we will refund:
- The total amount of the returned product
- Delivery and return costs (if you use the DPD carrier for the European Union and Monaco and Schneider & Cie. AG carrier for England and Switzerland)
We will pay the customs fees if the product has been delivered in England or Switzerland.
The amounts due will be credited to the bank account associated with the payment method chosen for the payment of your order. It takes 10 days to receive your reimbursement from the time the item is received in the factory that manufactures our products in Italy.
If you do not receive the item within this period, please contact us using our contact form.
We promise to refund you within 10 days of receiving your items. The items must be in perfect condition and unused.
If the returned items are not in perfect condition, we will contact you within 10 days of checking your items.
After this period, you can make a claim here.
Delivery and return costs are free within the European Union, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Monaco.
If you use another method of return than the one offered, i.e. via DPD for returning a product from the European Union and Monaco and Schneider & Cie. AG for returning a product from England and Switzerland, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
We are sorry if we have made a mistake in the refund.
Please contact customer service and they will resolve the problem as soon as possible. In order to optimise the processing time of the request, please provide the following information:
- The order number
- The items concerned
Once we have validated the perfect condition of the item and the fact that it has never been used, we will credit you with:
- The total amount of the returned items
- Delivery and return costs (if you use the DPD carrier for the European Union and Monaco and Schneider & Cie. AG carrier for England and Switzerland)
We will pay the customs fees if the product has been delivered in England or Switzerland.
The amounts due will be credited to the bank account associated with the payment method chosen for the payment of your order. We undertake to reimburse you the sums due within 10 days of receipt and verification of the perfect condition of the item.
If the refund is not received within this period, you can make a claim here.
If you paid for your item entirely with a gift card:
The amount spent will be credited back to a gift card. You will receive an email informing you that the amount has been transferred to the new gift card with its new information.
The time of use of this gift card will be updated: you will be able to use it for 1 year from the date of receipt of the new card.
If you paid for your order partly with a gift card and completed the purchase with another payment method:
The amount spent with the gift card will be credited to a new gift card and the amount spent with the other payment method will be credited to the bank account associated with that payment method.
You will receive two emails:
- An email with the details of your new gift card, and the amount available on it.
- An email confirming the refund to the bank account associated with the payment method used.
The time of use of the gift card will be updated: you will be able to use it for 1 year from the date of receipt of the new card.

A quality check is carried out on each product before it is put in the box. We follow a very strict procedure to ensure that the items arrive in perfect condition.

Depending on your situation, here is the procedure in case of a defect:
- If only one part of the product is damaged - a cushion for example - it is possible to replace it and send back only the damaged part.
- If the whole product or a major part of it - the tubes for example - is damaged, you will be compensated 100%. You have the choice of receiving a full refund, or asking for a new product to be sent to you.
MISCELLANEOUS
All Bogarel products are delivered as is
When you receive one of our products, you don't need to assemble, screw or do anything else. You simply remove the product from its packaging and install it at home, wherever and however you like.
The "Save for later" feature next to each item added to your shopping cart allows you to put items in a separate section of your cart. This way, you can remove them from your cart without losing sight of them and add them back into your cart in one click!
This feature only works if you are logged in to your customer account.
You can offer a gift card to the person of your choice by following these steps:
- Go to the "All products" category or in the footer in the "Collection" list by clicking on the "Offer a gift card" link
- Click on "Add to cart" on the gift card.
- Go to your shopping cart at the top right of your screen, then click on the gift card
- On the gift card page, select the design of your card
- Choose the amount you wish to give
- Choose your preferred shipping method
- Check that everything is correct, then click on Add to cart
- Pay for your order
- The card will be sent to the person you have chosen, and you will receive a confirmation email
- Go to your shopping cart available at the top right of your screen.
- Click on "View cart" or on "Checkout".
- Click on the "Do you have a gift voucher" link in the order summary on the right of your screen.
- Enter the gift voucher number in the field that has just opened, then click on "Add".
